Formerly known as 560 Mobile, this application lets you get a timetable via your Web browser by providing your stop number and route number. It’s made for the tiny display of a cellphone, but it can work in any browser. It was once featured on CBC Ottawa Morning and the local newspaper, Metro.
To use, simply point your mobile browser (or any browser, for that matter) to the following address:
If there’s a stop you usually go to take a specific route, you can even make your own URL to instantly get the timetable. You can bookmark that URL and you won’t need to fill in the form every time you want to get the upcoming bus times. Simply put the stop number and the route number in the URL:
http://m.ocinfo.ca/stop/route
For example, if I want to get the timetable for the route 1 at the stop 3009 (Rideau Centre), the URL would be the following:
You can also look up O-Train schedules, by specifying “0″ as the route number. For example, at Bayview:
If a stop has both directions of a route, you can add a number sign (#) at the end of the URL, followed by the first two letters of the route name in lowercase, to automatically scroll the result page to the desired schedule. For example, to get the schedule for 2 Bayshore at Westboro (stop 3012):
The service is also available in French. Simply append fr to ocinfo.ca:
